In Parallel - Contemporary Modern Dance Concert
April 5, 6, 12, 13 at the Symons Block
Vytal Movement Dance presents In Parallel, an evening of contemporary dance. In Parallel celebrates the sharing of dance across the Pacific Northwest. Featuring new works by Artistic Director Lexie Powell, Founding Director Vincas Greene, and Monica Mota of Quiero Flamenco, the evening will include brand new pieces from local artists based in the Inland Northwest. Guest performers will also share new works, including dancers from Bellingham Repertory Dance (April 5-6) and the University of Idaho (12-13). This unique performance will be an exciting gathering of emerging and established dance artists; it will be a moving and beautiful night of dance you won’t want to miss!

World Ballet Festival
The Best of Ballet is coming to Spokane, June 14-16 at First Interstate Center for the Arts!
Over the course of the weekend, the audience will get to see ballet stars such as Tiler Peck and Roman Meija from the New York City Ballet, Adji Cissoko and Shuaib Elhassan from the Alonso King’s LINES Ballet, Aaron Robison from the San Francisco Ballet, Rasmus Alghren from the Boston Ballet, Aviva Gefler Mundl, Kate Inoue and Marcos Ramirez from the Los Angeles Ballet, Fabrice Calmels, former first soloist of the Joffrey Ballet, Andrea Lassakova, Ekaterina Malkovich, Constantine Geronik, and more from the World Ballet Company, along with local companies’ presentations, such as Company Ballet School and Ballet Arts Academy performing on one stage.
